Welcome and good-day to you! This is a small kennel located in fair and pleasant Columbia, South Carolina. Here I breed fine working quality Rough Collies & Toy Shelties. My beautiful Toy Shelties have dainty builds favoring that of the English sheltie. I breed for shelties that stand 12 inches or smaller at the withers. They also have outstanding working drives, and as a result they make wonderful performance dogs. They are natural herders. These dogs are active, fast, smart, and strong, with plenty if stamina. They make great hiking companions. They are small enough to sit in your lap.

My Rough Collies have classic Lassie looks with a blaze, white ruff, sable coat, and a distinguished carriage. They are gentle, active, smart, strong, and playful. They love their family, and they take care of the children, small dogs, and the cats. They quickly learn rules and schedules, as well as learning good manners.

All of my dogs are housedogs. They spend days downstairs with the family. A few sleep in my bed. They are never boarded, when I travel I take them with me. I take them canoeing, hiking, and biking, as well as other activities.

I feed my dogs Blue Buffalo dog food for the reason that it is a premium quality food containing no corn, wheat, soy, or other low quality ingredients. More information on this subject can be founs on the page titled "Nutrition."

My dogs are trained (or being trained) in agility, obedience, and carting, along with a few tricks. In addition I train my collies as driving/draught dogs.

I am a member of the Toy Sheltie Club of America. I also run Southeast Herding Dog Rescue as I believe that if you do not rescue then you should not breed. All of my dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club.

I have a thirty day refund policy on my dogs. If you decide that the dog is not a good match for your household, you are welcome to bring him back unharmed within thirty days of the adoption for a full refund of the price of the dog. I offer training classes in obedience, agility, and draught work. I also offer boarding and grooming. Updated 8/6/08.
